Sculpture, and particularly larger outdoor sculpture, has generally lagged behind trends in art history. Indeed many sculptors from established veterans to emerging and mid-career artists are still working in stale formalist modes. This exhibition presents outdoor sculpture that has pushed beyond that into a more conceptual, contemporary realm and will feature new work by David Rickard - following on from his hugely successful commission at the Economist Plaza, James Ireland, and critically acclaimed duo littlewhitehead- exhibited at Saatchi's 'Newspeak'.
