THE HONOR DANCE

“Honor is not always what it seems.”

Video/workshop by: Abner Preis and Wayne Horse 7 and 8 November 2009

The Honor Dance is a video and a workshop focusing on ancient/contemporary behavior in honor. Through out the two day workshop, the participants- some as the Viking Gang, and others as the Rock and Rollers will engage in various arts, including; costume, dance, song and story telling. In preparation for The final Dance-Off, an anthropological investigation in to the contemporary characteristics of the living icon, the performance will be recorded. The final video piece will two weeks be later presented as a video premiere.
