"My drawings can be thought of as fragments of a whole. Like a movie still capturing a moment of before or after… like a state of ‘inbetweeness’.
They are open-ended narratives conveying what is not always seen at first glance. Like dreams that only provide a glimpse, they are suggestive and never quite tell you how the story will finish.

The immediacy of ink, its directness, brings spontaneity to my work. It’s that slight loss of control that captivates me, it eradicates the intellect and subconscious takes over. There is no reasoning, just an experience that creates that moment."
